Welcome

If this is the first time you are checking us out, we are so thrilled you have found your way to Connell Memorial United Methodist Church. Whether through our website, our disciples, or our community events—whatever brought you here was designed to be a way for us to get to know one another.

Whether you’re single, married, single again, with or without kids, young or old—no matter where you’ve been or what you’ve done—we invite you to experience freedom, new life, and fulfillment with us at CMUMC.

Our mission is to build a Christian community where believers and non-believers will become fully devoted disciples of Christ. That means that if you have never stepped foot inside of a church or maybe began going the Sunday after you were born, you’re safe to explore your faith at CMUMC.

What To Expect

Welcome to Connell Memorial United Methodist Church. We are a church rich in history, community, and tradition. We are located at 113 Church Street in Goodlettsville, TN. We celebrate our Christian faith with worship every Sunday at 9:00 a.m. with an assembly time and Sunday School following.

At Connell, we don’t have a dress code. Some dress in Sunday finest, others in their shorts. Some wear a tie, others an open collar shirt. Whatever you wear, you will find someone dressed like you.

The nursery is located on the lower level of the education building. Two childcare providers are always in the nursery and we follow safe sanctuary practices at all times.

+  On your first Sunday, come in the front door. The doors at the ramp lead straight into the worship space, and many feel uncomfortable entering through this door. It is, however, always open and our regulars are used to it.

+  There are no reserved seats. As you enter, an usher can assist you in finding a seat, or you are welcome to sit wherever you are comfortable.

+ There is a restroom in the Bell Tower for your convenience. Other restrooms are located in the Gathering Area.
