A community of PeoplE

Our Reach and Send Ministries stretch their arms to the community, especially the non-religious or nominally religious people, so they may feel invited to participate in our community and experience the love of Jesus through the body of Christ. We create strategic partnerships locally by providing food to those locally in need and becoming involved with our local schools. We invite you to worship with us along with becoming a part of these ministries by receiving the blessing of service.

Room In The Inn

The first two Wednesday nights of each month from November through March we host 8 homeless men in our church overnight through our participation in the Room In The Inn program. These men are blessed with a hot supper and the chance to take a hot shower and get their clothes laundered. The next morning they recieve a hardy breakfast, leaving with a full stomach.

This program is always in need of volunteers and supplies. Please consider making this program a part of your personal outreach in spreading the love of Jesus Christ.

Meals On Wheels

For over 20 years, we have delivered a hot meal each Tuesday to 60 of our senior citizens. Many of the recipients of this program look forward to the personal interaction and visitation as much, if not more than the meal they receive itself. We would love to have your help with this program in any way you feel led. Please contact the church office to see how you can get involved.

Alcoholics Anonymous

AA meets weekly at Jason’s Place at the Connell Recovery House located at 200 East Cedar Street. Weekly meetings take place each Thursday at 6:30 pm. Additional, special meeting times are detailed below.

Mondays and Thursdays: Open Meeting — 7:30 pm

Ladies Meetings Tuesdays: Open Meeting — 6:00 pm

Al-Anon Meetings Thursdays: Open Meeting — 6:30 pm

Grapevine Meeting Men and Ladies Friday: Open Meeting — 6:00 pm

Saturday: Closed Meeting — 6:00 pm

Mother's Day Out

We believe in Growing the Child from the Inside Out.

Connell’s Mother’s Day Out program offers outstanding instruction and play with a focus on Christian values for children up to pre-kindergarten.

We have a maximum capacity of 40 children and are currently accepting enrollment into the program.
